How do people expect me to get better at doing my job while I’m just focused on studying for the CPA?

What are the designation levels in the major financial institutions? It's confusing because some consider VP and SVP more senior than a Director, and some have SVP one level lower than a Director like in Citi. If you know the levels of whichever org you work for, please comment on this post. For example in Standard Chartered:
it's Associate, Associate Director, Director, Executive Director, Managing Director (3 levels).

Any thoughts on the best certifications to get in order to help move forward? I have considered the CCP from World at Work, but it’s fairly pricey to get by the time you wrap up everything. I was looking at both SHRM-CP and SPHR. Everyone that I have spoken to has the SHRM, but that’s also only looking at individuals in a small geographic footprint and within 3-4 different companies. I was hoping to get some thoughts on this from others? Thanks

Hello, I’m about 3 and a half years as a clinical data manager. Does anyone have any advice in how I can progress my career?

I’ve got about 20 years cross channel experience in marketing, split between big brands and startups, and I’m considering pivoting into a data science/data analyst role. I know it will initially be a step back in comp but is it at all realistic for a person with certificate level experience in data analysis but a decent marketing management background to expect $150-200k comp or is that mostly for degreed candidates (or not realistic at all)? I know if you are a US citizen you pay taxes where you are globally, but if you are British, then you only pay income tax on UK income - so if you live more than half the year abroad you are classed as non-domicile resident, but wanted to hear if anyone’s done this or heard about it?

So took FAR today, felt good about it. For the most part I felt questions were from stuff i ready and felt was easy. Now am not sure if I got everything of it but I also know1/2

Taking my REG retake in one week. Got a 71 the last time. I purchased ninja and was planning on drilling MCQ, sims, and reading ninja notes for the next week. Do you guys think this will be sufficient?

I’ve taken FAR a few times at this point. I got two 74s and this past one I got a 70. I felt like the last exam (which was a few weeks ago) was extremely harder than the other ones. Has anyone else noticed the exam getting extremely tough? Or do you think I just got a one off?

Question - my 18month clock stops Oct end. I have one exam left. If I test this month end for my last exam, but the results come in Nov (and hopefully I pass) will that still expire the credit for my first exam? Or I should be good?

Besides using Becker, did you use other sources to help with passing the CPA exam?

I took FAR in Aug and AUD last week. Didn’t pass FAR and feeling like I may have passed AUD. My original NTS for them runs out on dec 18. If I get a new NTS for one of them to take before busy season do I have to wait to take it until after my original NTS runs out?

I’m so happy to say that after about 5 years of being here, I’m finally done with the exam!!!
