Anybody working in consulting and OE?
Hi Fishies,
Looking for any reviews/suggestions regarding Pubmatic. Most important is the tech stack and learning aspects.
Big data technologies(Scala-Spark etc) and Java.
Also in discussion with Impetus and Autodesk (via third party i.e. Applicantz).
CTC is not a concern right now as what they are offering is enough for me right now.
Any suggestions would be helpful

Most PMs cap out in the high 60s/low 70s. Acct service easily gets up into six figures. Don’t do it for money, tho. Do what makes you happiest and gives you a solid standard of living
Process what you want to do long term. There isn’t the wealth of growth prospects in PM vs Acct. Which is fine, just be aware. Personally, some of the better Acct people I’ve worked with started as PM and switched to Acct. not vice versa
Yes
Super easy! I went from AE to producer which was a hybrid of account and PM and now do PM 100%.
Any suggestions of where to look for those hybrid PM/account roles? I’ve been trying to move into production and most of the feedback I’ve gotten has indicated that I need to start at the beginning. That’s why I’m still where I am. Too hard of a pill to swallow to undo 6 years of progress with a livable salary approaching my 30s.
Not hard at all! One of my fav PMs was an account Supervisor first. At AE level you won’t have any bad habits to unlearn. Basically the same job but more organized, more ownership of schedules and less client bullshit.
Client services is the least favorite aspect of my job to be honest. I am wondering what other positions there are where I can apply any transferable skills. PM seemed like the closest match.
OP, have you also considered production? Lots of similar skills required as PM but more of a similar career trajectory to Account.
