Is this layoff?Amdocs

Hi all,
I joined KPMG around 3 months ago but I am not getting work here. Although, I qualified some project's interview, yet due to some internal reason, they considered someone else, and I again came on bench.
I am unable to figure out what can be done now.
Should I start searching work outside.
(I hardly see any job openings these days)
(sap domain)
How's the resource management here?
(do they lagOff?)
Any inputs will be helpful.
Thanks!

Assuming you meet compliance and training requirements, you won’t get let go.

I would literally do nothing for weeks at a time as staff aug at DoD and no one noticed
Virtually impossible unless you actively refuse to do your job or put the firm at risk (compliance, etc).

So more than just being perceived as "difficult" ?
Not in fed consulting, but I imagine it’s the same as commercial at Deloitte, if you’re fully utilized and the bench is thin, it would be really unlikely to get let go unless you cause a compliance issue
