Matt?
BCG Atlanta hires them all the time
The consulting world isn't hiring Emory, they would be hiring YOU. You make them look good or bad
EY & Deloitte recruits from Emory for UG
I went to Emory, all the big consulting firms recruited a ton from Goizueta from what I experienced.
Emory is solid. I’d say it’s in the same ballpark as Vanderbilt and Duke; I see plenty from all three at BCG Atlanta.
Lol. Vanderbilt and Emory are not on the same plane as Duke.
I don’t care what school you went to when I’m hiring.
I’ve been impressed by a lot of the Emory undergrads I’ve worked with. Recruiting and interviewing at their B-school is a nightmare
I consider it a great school. Not vandy but close enough. Certainly see it represented at my firm.
Haha I actually did not. Went to a school up north :) but I’m from Nashville and had friends go to Vandy over Emory. And I don’t think anyone would seriously argue Emory is a more prestigious school.
Curious for those who think (or know?) Emory is not a target: why is that?
I would've thought that consulting firms would've just went to any stereotypical top school to hire smart people, and I would've thought that Goizueta isn't that bad
Yea that’s what I always thought. I went to school with some unbelievably smart people compared to who I’m working with now. Not that the people I’m working w now are dumb - emory people were just much more intellectual
Yeah I’ve seen many Emory grads in many great firms. I think it’s a relatively small school so alumni numbers are smaller but still a good school
I have a friend that went to Emory MBA program. Full time offers from all MBB
