The most humane way to fly domestically in the US. If we were animals PETA would approve
No upgrades, but you can use points to upgrade to even more space. But, biggest benefit is that you get a good points return for flying, and can quickly get free flights. Also, leg room for their basic seat is the same as comfort plus for delta.
I like jetblue
The "blue" fares just mean you don't get a free checked bag.
I ❤️ JetBlue and have mosaic status. Rewards program is very good but as others have said there’s no first class upgrade. Even for flights that offer mint class (which I flew once and it was awesome), you can’t be upgraded to it. You have to pay. When you make mosaic they’ll give you a ton of points which you can use toward “buying” their ‘even more space’ seats but I never do that. If you just check in at the airport they’ll upgrade you to those seats for free based on availability. I am out of Boston and I always try to fly them. Delta is my second choice. Never AA.
It can take longer than that for sure
I've got friends that swear by Jetblue flying out of BOS, I do AA typically though
Seems like Deloitte is using the cheapest ‘blue’ rate by default 😖
Funny how ya say "legacy"
Agree with PWC1. No upgrades but I think Mint is an option (their better class) for SFO to BOS if you’re okay paying for it yourself (or it’s okay within firm policy). Point accrual is great. I just went for their Plus credit card - normally not for co-branded cards but they’re the only airline I have loyalty to. For those bemoaning the wasted points, I rarely travel for work and am always on JetBlue and AA routes for personal travel. I’m also in Boston.
Love Jet Blue!
Southwest is best
Mint is nice
P1: it also means less bonus points as well as cheaper rate
You’ll also get extra points for every 5 round trips you do a year that are “long haul” trips (eg bos to sfo). You also earn points through their badge program for visiting new cities or flying on special days (eg halloween, your birthday).
WiFi is very good and free, unlimited snacks and soft drinks, free satellite tv, and their upgraded planes with mint have cup holders and outlets at every seat. They also have fridges so you can grab your own extra drink at any point in the flight.
How long for jetblue to post points? Flew Thursday for first time and no points posted yet
