How is your work load recently? I started at this corporate firm about a year ago and I’m only billing two hours a day if that. I keep asking for work and they said their isn’t any at the moment and not to worry. I have 5 years corporate/real estate experience and have never been this bored…..

I need help. I'm dealing with multiple losses in the same week and having a hard time... I took some time off from work but I have no motivation to do anything. I don't want to go back to work and don't care about my work right now. I want to quit but I don't want to make a rash decision but need a long break. It's also not fair to my team that I can't give it my 100%. What can I do?

Gave my 2-week notice and Partner has asked me stay an extra 3 days to wrap up a project that I know will be a very long 3 days... I don’t really want to do it but also am afraid of burning bridge. I said yes to the Partner but now kind of regret it. This job has made me sacrifice my health and I don’t want to work those extra 3 days. I wonder what’s the best way to tell them.

How is WLB at a MM fund different from a MF? I’ve heard MF are worse on average, but what makes it worse? Is it just the hours, or is the work also significantly different?

Working on a deal where buyer's side keeps on insisting on a POA to effectuate all actions of Seller under the agreement, including executing documents. Junior associate here, should I ask for more money if my firm is about 10-15 percent less hours but about 30 percent less pay?
