Hi all, I just got a job offer at PwC for a senior consultant position. The salary is 30% above my total comp right now, but I’m just worried about the amount of work I will have to put in compared to my amazing work life balance now. Does anyone have any experience moving from industry to consulting? I need some advice on what to do. I’m still early in my career (1.4yoe) so I feel like I shouldn’t care too much about wlb, but at the same time, I don’t want my mental health to suffer either.
Anyone made a career pivot after big 4?

Depends on a company really, you can easily get promoted if you are smart and changing jobs quite often
Ok, that's helpful to understand the time and process that others have experienced. I would really like to stick to one place by building good relationships with management, but I also know I can't control who my leaders are, whether they would choose to promote me, etc.
Although years of experience is an advantage, it is not an all encompassing factor. It depends on your over-all performance too, consistency and impact on the company.
