Can't speak on EY, but when I interviewed with Deloitte and KPMG, they both informed me within 48 hours after the interview to expect an offer. Written offers actually showed up 7-10 days later, likely because lining up of all the levels of approvals needed, etc. Would think other B4 would be similar.
Mine took 4 to 6 weeks but that is not the norm
EA 1- I went with Deloitte, but it was really related to my commute. I live in the NYC suburbs and they had a spot in their NJ office while KPMG was in NYC. Since I have kids, I chose the shorter commute. I like it here, but to be honest, it seemed like KPMG was more laid back and possibly had a slightly better culture.
Don’t worry - if you are presentable you got the job
Thank you all! Going to follow up today. Interviewed last Wednesday for a specialty group
It also depends on who else they are interviewing. I'm interviewing with them in September, so the fact that they are extending interviews that far out suggests they may take a while. Were you referred by someone?
SM1, which offer did you take? And why? Currently a Senior at BDO but would like to go back to Big 4 as a manager in a couple of years. I’ve worked both at KPMG (1st year) and Deloitte (2 and senior year 1) but I would like to go to one of the two if possible.
For.ev.er.
SM1, KPMG is my number 1 choice due to the culture. But since I’ll be going from BDO to Big 4 I really don’t know if any of the big 4 will take me as a manager or if they would want me to step down as a senior
For my friend, who I referred to EY, it took over 2 months from interview 1 with HR to come for a super day in a market where they needed people badly. This was with me following up with the Director of Talent regularly.
I was an experienced hire too, took 3 months of process and 5 months to join. PwC, on the other hand, took one afternoon!
I received a call the next morning.
