Hello Everyone,
I am a fresher with over 9+ months of experience as a Data Engineer at Tata Consultancy .
I just needed some suggestions from you experienced folks.🙏
In my current project my colleagues have over 6+ years of experience and are not very supportive and scold me for unnecessary reasons, which is effecting my mental health.😔
Also I am not getting to learn anything.

My newest job involved two interviews in the first two weeks of January and an offer by the third. Most of the jobs that hired me made it happen within 3-4 weeks, and kept in touch through the process. Whether I was a mid level writer or an ACD, it was the same thing. And the ones that make you play email tag are always the ones that string you along into oblivion.
It depends. I’ve had offers that took months and a couple where I was hired on the spot. THOSE were sweet...
2 weeks to 6 months
I should add - in house positions move much slower than agency ones in my experience
In my experience, when it happens, it happens fast.
I’ve had anywhere from exactly a week, to three weeks, to 2 months to legitimately on the spot.
So it really just depends. I think it matters how urgent it is. If they just won an account/have a large project it’s usually more urgent. But sometimes if they’re just looking to grow, they take a lot more time to be selective and that can take a while!
There is no normal... sorry. From on the spot to two years ?! (They liked me but they lost budget and came back to me 2 years later lol). Even if you get rejected you never know, opportunities may arise from referrals or from other positions at same company later.
What happens during the in-between time? Do you normally know why you’re waiting or not hear anything?
But they are usually risk averse in that most will
Not extend job offers until they have client contracts and finances secured
Two days with my last job offer
last two jobs were both one round of interviews and offer within a week.
Longest it’s ever taken me 6 months. Shortest: 5 days.
Between 1-3ish weeks. Depends on the schedules a of the people you need to meet. And usually only a couple days after the final interview
I'm about to start the Amazon process... 1st phone screen scheduled within a 2 week window of the recruiter first reaching out. 2nd call within a week after that. If all goes well after 2nd call, 2 week window to schedule the all day in-person 'loop'. Rejection or offer sent by recruiter within 2 days after the 'loop'. They can also reduce the level (or 'L') to make a senior role into a mid based on the interview performance.
