TBWA NY recruiter?
Has anyone interviewed with Amazon in the last 6 months. I finished my loop for a finance role. It’s been 8 business days and no update from the recruiter. I mailed the recruiter who said apologies for the delay but we will get back to you with next steps. Has anyone had this experience and what was the outcome Amazon
Cleared Accenture Skill interview by answering almost all the questions and received congratulatory mail for HR round and submitting all documents. Then after a week received a call from HR saying that due to some technical issue, the skills round will happen again and an online assessment was set up. In the assessment, questions which were not directly related to the profile were asked and then a rejection mail was received. Does this happen a lot?
Did anyone get a GSB interview this week?

Twice. Any more it seems desperate and I wouldn’t want to work at a place that treats prospective employees that way. Plus at the SAE level there might be too many people looking unless you are specialized (eg healthcare) so keep looking but try to be patient. You’ll find the right place for you to be!

If you’re not hearing back, it’s not like they planned to offer you a job and then forgot. So one follow up from me and that’s it. All you’ll ever get in response is silence or a non-update update saying no news yet.
Honestly I disagree. I’ve been part of hiring processes where a candidate following up two or three times made us move a little faster and we respected their initiative. I feel like it can’t hurt, and if it has the potential to help, you might as well.
3 times if I’m not getting a response at all, possibly more if I’m getting “we’ll let you know!” responses
three times for me spaced out one - two weeks in between

Depends on what my feedback or response is during the follow ups. Are you getting prompt or interested sounding replies?
I don’t think it hurts to follow up until you get no response or a rejection/similar, but I would space out the responses quite a bit. I once followed up on an interview every two weeks for three months and eventually got the job after telling them I received a different offer, but I have been in similar situations that haven’t panned out. Sometimes it’s just a red tape issue, so don’t totally give up, but if they seem cool on the whole thing I would move on with sporadic check ins.

Three times was my limit
Twice.
Depends on how badly I want the job, but probably two to three times.
Agree with 3 times, but only if you hear back the second time.
