I have an offer from Mercer to join as module lead with 12.5 fix CTC and annual incentive plan which is not clearly mentioned in offer letter. My joining date is 31st October so as per company policy anyone joining after 1st oct won't be eligible for appraisal cycle nor for annual incentive plan..which makes my package 12.5 lacs for next one and a half year.
Not sure if it would be a wise decision, current CTC is 9.08 lacs Mercer

The salary ranges in these roles are pretty fixed, in the sense that your YOE might place you higher in that range, but not above from what I know.
Anecdotally, coming from someone in Europe, I think 425 all in is a little on the high end of what you could expect, but I think possible

YOE doesn’t really matter. It’s all about level in the firm (which can be related to YOE) and performance. $425 TC is possible for a high performing Principal/ AP but not for a PL / EM in the US.
Are you coming from a Big 4 background? In terms of where they fall in the hierarchy within the firm a Principal / AP at MBB is similar to a Big 4 SM. PL/EM would be similar in the firm hierarchy to Manager in Big 4. But much better $$$ and faster progression at MBB
