How is the work life balance in Citi?
Here is the scenario: Have 2 offers from IT MNCs and 1 from Citi. Citi's offer is the highest. Almost 5 lakhs diff in the fixed component. Although money is important, but I am also seeking a little balance with life. I was previously in ZS Associates and to be frank, life was hell. I am not looking to relive that phase again.
What are the daily actual working hours?
Shall I join Citi or let go it for a lower package offer?
Seeking honest advice here.

I don’t think it’s worth the work if you’re already a CPA, but if for whatever reason you couldn’t get the CPA the CMA is a solid alternative if you want a credential of some kind.
I think in terms of perception most people that work in accounting will know what a CPA and CMA are. Outside of that though no one will know what the CMA, but the CPA is universally acknowledged by all people in business and even non-business people usually recognize it. The CMA won’t get that same level.
If you had to pick one, definitely CPA. Generally, I’ve found that US tends to favor CPA but that’s more due to the fact that US college curriculums tend to overdue financial reporting and underemphasize management accounting. CMA teaches a lot of essential management accounting concepts that the CPA ignores.
If you have the time and money, can’t hurt to have both. CMA is pretty widely recognized and sought after abroad and even required for some higher-level industry accounting-type roles.
I think it depends on where you're located. In Canada, no one new could get their CMA as of 2013 (it's merged with CPA now). CPA is the more prestigious one and most people I know either use both CPA, CMA or they just drop the CMA part and only use CPA.
Personally, I would give you more if you only list CMA, CPA nulls the CMA
I think having multiple just says you either don't know what you want out of the profession or just trying to get more gigs (going for the pay without putting quality first).
I know a lot of people that have 3+ acronyms following their last name and getting more doesn't make them any smarter.
Plus I don't understand the need to have that everywhere. Doctors sure don't throw around every bit of what they study to do their work, not sure in accounting this is a norm.
I don’t give any weight to CMA, just the CPA.
I'm currently pursuing both however the CPA is definitely the more recognized certification!
