Hi Guys,
I have been assigned to a Unbillable Project, they are building one app and have recruited people from the talent pool. The project is not registered in GLOW. And they are calling it as Voluntary Contribution type project for studio. Is this what they call Internal Project in Globant?
Will there be any impact if I don't perform as per their expectations?
Will it be of any benefit to me if work in voluntary project? Will HR recognize this project contribution as valid work?

Does anyone here work for Silicon Valley Bank? They recently acquired Boston Private. I’m a candidate for a job at Boston Private. Wondering if SVB is planning layoffs in the near term at BP? Also, does anyone know the anticipated benefits to be rolled out from SVB as the parent company? Specifically interested in health insurance providers. Thanks in advance for any information! - 20 PTO days
- 104 Work from home days
- no sick time, but WFH helps a lot.
- I take all of my PTO days and about half of my WFH days
28 days plus federal holidays, I take almost all of them, but will if i don’t i can roll over some
Unlimited. As much as I want I’m grown
4 weeks of vacation, 11 paid holidays, 1 floating holiday. I take every single moment. We have a separate sick time bucket - 80 hours annually.
20 PTO days + 10 paid holidays. In first full year at company so haven’t figured out how much I’m going to use. None of it rolls over so I’d say all of it?😂
160 hrs of vacation
48 hrs of sick
20 hrs of personal
Major holidays
I take all of it
In a EU country per year :
- 30 days (aka 6 weeks, aka 240 hours) paid PTO per year / with mandatory at least one occurrence of 2 weeks consecutive or need to sign a waiver / up to 10 days rollable to beginning of next year if consecutive with end-of-year vacation / all use it or lose it, no accumulation possible - company may otherwise need to pay out days not taken, though will "resent" the employee for it
- 10 to 15 paid national bank holidays
- 1 paid volunteering day off
- unlimited paid sick leave with doctor's note
- adhoc paid company events days off : sports days, development training days, etc...
- 60% paid remote work (approx. 8 days per month at the office, rest remote)
Unlimited and I take around 25 vacation days a year
Director 1 yeah do not be fooled by unlimited PTO because they still expect you to get your job responsibilities done and not take off 100 times a year. A lot of people have been fired because they abused the unlimited PTO benefit.
Pro tip. Stay at your company for two years max out all pto and then cash it out and move to a higher paying job and you’ll get a fat check of accrued PTO. lol
Well, most firms now allow you only to carry over 5 days to next year. So use it or lose it.
— 3 weeks of vacation, however “sensitive” roles HAVE to take a 2 week consecutive vacation every year.
— 120 hours of sick time
— 80 hours of WFA (work from anywhere)
— 3 days of volunteer time
— I believe 5 days of bereavement leave
— BNY Mellon only allows you to rollover to to 5 days of vacation. You loose whatever you didn’t use.
23 days and all of em since it's use ot or lose it.
160 of vacation 80 of sick 40 of which can be personal plus a floating holiday. We can buy up to 5 extra vacation days
Unlimited usually is a keyword for 20 days ish a year, not to be taken all at once. I get unlimited and typically 1 week around Christmas, 2 weeks summer, and a total of 5 days spread around (long weekend here, day trip there etc)
28 days. I take every single one of them
Unlimited + 11 holidays in NYC - end up taking about 25 + a couple of flex days
160 hours, all is able to roll over with a 250 hour cap. Used to be 400 up until this year though!
I need to work for Lockheed asap
33 days plus all standard holidays. Extra 5 days every 5 yr svc anniversary
21 Days of PTO
7 Days of Sick time.
I try to use all of PTO Most of the time. Last few years I've been losing 3-4 days.
Sick time I very rarely use.
4 weeks vacation. 6 days PTO.I use all of the PTO since it doesn’t roll over. I use most of my vacation. I usually try to roll over a at least a week.
BA1 — Mind sharing the company?
20 PTO days, all of which I take
In the UK, 25 days plus 8 / 9 bank holidays is pretty standard, as is taking it all. Sometimes paid volunteering leave too. I only take sick leave when I'm sick, because I'm a professional.
160 hours vacation
80 hours sick
24 hours personal
I use it all every year. 11 years with the firm.
Previously it was 23 days PTO (no distinction between vacation and sick days) plus 9 paid holidays (fixed, not floating). Now that I hit my 5 year anniversary with the company, it is increasing to 28 days PTO plus the same paid holidays as before. 5 days can roll over to the next year if unused, remaining balance is forfeited. I make sure to use all of it every year.
