How much would my tech stack and language be a factor in getting selected in faang or good product based companies?
I'm asking from getting my resume selected to getting an offer.
I read everywhere that only DSA and system design is needed, but I'm still concious about my tech stack.

Hello fishes,
I have offers from Tiger Analytics and o9 Solutions . Both companies offering similar pay.
I have 2.5 years of experience in Data Science more specifically time series analysis. I know o9 has main domain in time series forecasting for supply chain analytics. But my work will depend on the client I will assigned to.
Which is the better company in regards to machine learning and data science exposure.

Answers to this will be very subjective and it actually has nothing to do with the amount of money you are making. I recently shopped at ZARA for the first time in my career of 15 years. Not because I couldn’t afford it but because my priorities were different. I wanted to build my house, buy a car and invest for my future before indulging in fancy but depreciating items. However in ZARA store I saw many young girls, must be in their mid twenties, buying 10-15k worth of dresses guilt free. I remember when I was a fresher, a guy in my batch had bought MacBook on EMI so it’s all about mindset. I still wouldn’t waste my money on Starbucks but I would happily spend a bomb on a personal trainer because that for me is an investment in my health. It’s all about priorities
P.S - I’m a woman so ZARA is a big deal :)
Yes I know
I make around 30, never felt even comfortable walking alone into a Starbucks store. I'm not telling everyone in my salary range would feel the same. Different people have different perceptions.
I don't see value, either in taste or status going to a Starbucks.
Above 20 Lpa I guess
Wrong answer. I'm past 20 and I know

Depends on what you find happiness in. I'd happily spend a fortune on Decathlon.

Your perspective. That's what I am trying to imply: your salary : the brand (and your propensity to spend a bit/lot) on it.
If you want to have a huge lavish (whatever they really sell) beverage and sides vis-a-vis a small portion. I think anyone can do the latter, while the former requires some consideration (again function of your disposable income). On the other hand, it depends: would you be happy to go on and have a proper spend there/would you be happy to just step foot inside the store.. as in what qualifies as a satisfactory interaction with Starbucks.
On an average it's rather difficult to quantify.
I am equating this to Decathlon. I'd probably end up spending an inordinate amount on gear from there/vis a vis not too much from I dunno: M&S? Neither of the two reflect my actual spend ability. Stupid for the first choice and too miserly for the second
