I’ve been making over 100k since I was 24, don’t feel like I need savings. I get what I want when I want.

28, 537k.
Comparison is the thief of joy. Save what you can and live your life - who cares about other peoples NW.
300k came from MSD. Of the 300k, 75% has been distributed to my IRA and the remaining 25% sits in equity. I saved 275k organically LTD. I lost 38k NW YoY in the market.
Nothing misleading. Like OP asked, current savings and investments is 537k across 401k, IRA, HSA, company equity, taxable brokerage, and cash.

Kid works at hedge fund and he convinced his dad to bet $25M on this? That’s Pelosi Capital level corruption. If the SEC doesn’t realize there’s a case here just shut them down.

Lived on my own since college. 40k is from a few inheritances from my very generous family members which I plan to put towards my first home in honor of their hard work and savings. I also have 16k in student loans debt. So about 74k I have saved on my own minus my debt.

For motivation: Orman gives the example of a 25-year-old who invests $100 a month in a Roth IRA for 40 years and earns a 12 percent annual return. When that person retires at age 65, their investment will be worth just over $1 million. If the same person were to start investing $100 per month at age 35, they'd only have around $300,000 by the time they reached 65. "Those 10 years cost you $700,000," Orman points out
