Huron or Navigant for Healthcare? What would you join?

works at

Huron people seem more fun/happier and slightly more motivated from my limited experience. Sounds like they pay about the same. Source: I know a couple people that have worked for each. Both know their stuff when it comes to healthcare.

I’ve worked at both and feel that both know their stuff, specifically when it comes to revenue cycle. There are obviously reasons I left Huron and I am now happy at Navigant, but more so related to internal political reasons. People jump back and forth pretty often it seems. Feel free to reach out if you want to know more.

Do you have a burner? Will love to hear further. Thanks!

This is an ongoing argument in the HC bowl. Bottomline: it depends on the practice, your team, and what you like as an employee. I would suggest reaching out to a couple of people from each place to get a sense of which would be a better fit for you personally

Huron - but honestly go wherever the most money is. Huron might be more flexible with comp given high demand for staff

How long does Navigant recruiter usually get back to you after first initial interview?

A week or maybe a little longer

I have really enjoyed working at Navigant. The culture in the healthcare practice is really strong. There are always good opportunities for growth, especially if you ask.

Huron...lol. I am in the Healthcare practice. I was part of an acquisition. I was worried at first but I love working for Huron. It sounds like you would be in PI as opposed to HTSG.

RANT. I’m so sick of FAR, and I haven’t even started govt acct. I enjoy the material, but I can’t get any mcq correct bc of a dumb mistake/curveball/memory lapse. I’m disgusted with myself 🤢

There’s a lot of negativity these days understandably, but I’ve always heard that out of the ashes of many catastrophic natural disasters, that cities are often given the opportunities to rebuild and reinvent in positive ways not possible before (think Chi after the fire, SF and Santa Barbara after big quakes, NOLA after Katrina). Corona is unique in that it’s worldwide, so this could be an opportunity for the world as a whole to do this. In what ways do y’all see the world improving from this?
