It’s really not in good faith to negotiate once you already accepted an offer.
Since this would all require partner approval, I’d personally avoid reneging unless you are willing to burn bridges / damage your reputation.
Any path other than starting at Deloitte might burn bridges.
I’d so some soul searching on whether you want to be in consulting or industry and then either rescind your acceptance with Deloitte and move to industry or just start at Deloitte.
Trying to renegotiate an offer you already accepted will prob do more harm than good.
You can if you are comfortable [a] pissing off people at Deloitte and [b] accepting the other offer should Deloitte fail to budge.
So you think just because you can get into Harvard means you can get into Yale?
I agree with Director1. Gonna be clear with what you want and why you accepted the offer in the first place. It won’t shine a positive light if you do so, shows you’re sorta flaky and can be easily pushed around (they may think you won’t be loyal in the case this happens again few years down the road).
You must have accepted bcos it met your expectations alongside the value you believe you’re bringing. Hope you did your research on a fair package before accepting the offer.
