Job offer… I’ve been offered a Client Service Associate role at JP Morgan (UK) and my expectations are around £35k but HR have said it’s around 32-33 and will get back to me next week. Stupid question. In the H&S salary report, are the splits by size of the fund based on the fund itself or the PE firm? For example, Blackstone has 800b+ aum but any specific fund within Blackstone manages something less like let’s say it’s a $30b fund or a new fund that’s only raised $2b so far? Would the salary report be based on the company level aum or the specific fund (even if it’s a brand new fund that hasn’t raised much within a larger firm)? My guess is the latter or somewhere between.

Is it worth sticking it out to senior if I’m not interested in tax long term? I could get an offer for a 25 percent raise in industry at any given moment but keep telling myself to stay until a busy season or two is under my belt as a senior.

Thoughts on the "fake it til you make it" mentality in career growth? Regarding a Front End Developer role.

I passed the HR screen, did an interview with who would be my) supervisor and the team lead, and am now doing a coding test.

I am familiar enough with the language (React) and pushing updates to Git in order to complete the test, but I'm afraid when I do a panel with the team to review my design, I'll end up making a fool of myself.

I've never been so excited yet so nervous for a role.
