I am a Principal Solutions Architect with 13 YOE of which 5 years exp is with Biotech focusing on Public Cloud (AWS) & overall AWS exp. 9 years. I need suggestions /opinions if applying for a Senior Solutions Architect (Level6) at AWS makes sense or if I should aim for a Principal SA (level 7) role at AWS with Healthcare & Lifesciences industry experience. If it makes any difference, I worked for AWS ProServe as an external SA in the past. Any insights / feedback appreciated.

What should my requested salary be for a Senior Intelligence Analyst position with CrowdStrike ? I have a bachelors degree and 5 years of experience as an intelligence analyst. Current salary is 56k in NC, but when I was in DC I was making 86k (big locality change)… which makes me confused on what I should expect for a remote job.

Dm me if needed but what do you make now? Aws is famous for down naming. But apply for the 7 if they want you but you don’t raise the bar they will offer you the 6
I agree. Apply for the 7 so you don’t short sell yourself. If under qualified and Amazonian material, they’ll put you in for another position, most likely a 6.
L7 expects you to have a high level of impact / influence across geographies / orgs. Do you have similar experience ?
Leveling is dependent on prior experience and interview performance . I’ve seen 20+ years of experience come in at L5 as well
That being said no harm applying for L7 if you think your background meets the requirements . Worst case they might downlevel to 6 after the process
