Looking for some honest advice. Considering an offer with SocGen B’lore for Specialist Software Engineer position with 5.5 years exp and into Tech service management. Could you please tell me a bit about following points?
- I see 25% of the compensation(5Lakhs) is Variable. Does company even pay 60% of it at the end of the year if you perform say 4/5 rating?
- What is an average annual hike that the firm gives?
- How is the work culture? Societe Generale
JPMorgan Chase recruiter from Poland has reached out about a role in the UK and has tried to call me from a polish number, but can’t hear a thing during the phone call. She then messages me on LinkedIn to say she will call me in an hour due to having connection issues.
Does this sound legit?

Did you work at all before getting your mba? Otherwise the mba is a detriment not a help.
Also being international makes it much harder. Have you expanded beyond tech or where are you applying? Most the hiring freezes are in tech that’s why I ask

You should try posting this in the job referral bowl as well. I have een able to get several referrals from that bowl :)
