I am an international student finishing up my MBA with a specialization in finance. My undergrad was in business management. I’ve been applying and getting referrals from friends. He haven’t had any interviews partially because of all the hiring freezes. Is anyone willing to help with referrals or offer some advice or maybe take a look at my resume?

I interviewed with Citi's internal audit last week and they said after the interview was over I would hear back next week. So far, crickets. I kind of need a job right now. The jobs site still says "business review" as far as application status goes.

However, now I got an email from the hiring manager that hiring for my role has been paused due to the ongoing cost of living crisis.
