I would say if the $350 per month is a hinderance to your current monthly cash flow pay off the debt and start to rebuild your saving at a lesser rate, say $150 or $200/month paid back to yourself. That way your debt is gone, your cash flow improves and your savings starts to rebuild. If cash flow is not an issue right now and the interest rate on the loan is low, keep your savings and continue paying the $350.
What is the interest rate on the federal student loan?
I have several, that range from 3.5-4.8%
Can you pay off some of them, ideally the higher interest ones, and then have a lower monthly payment going forward? That saves some flexibility if you are concerned about liquidity.
If this money is above and beyond your emergency fund and short term goals then I'd just pay it off.

I would recommend keeping 6 months of expenses in your savings and any balance above that, put towards your student loans.
