I applied to a job a little over a month ago and had the initial screening the following week.

I thought it went great, but didn’t hear back from them until 2 weeks later asking me to complete a lengthy assignment (it took me 3 and a half days to complete the assignment.)

They told me the next steps would be to complete the assignment and then the following week meet with the CEO.

It’s been almost a week since I handed in and I still haven’t heard anything.

Working Moms/Dads: Do in-house positions exist with flex time hours? I need to be able to leave work at 4pm to pick up my son from daycare, but i can get back online at home to resume any unfinished work at 8pm. Is this realistic to convey to any companies in an interview? Pandemic aside, is face time 9-7pm really important? Or should i just try to find a job with a salary that covers a nanny salary and accept that i will never see my son on weekdays (which would be sad for both of us)? TIA!

I applied to a job at KPMG and did the first two rounds of interviews, general interview, then case study and competency. Never before have I had such a positive feedback at the end of an interview of the 2nd, both said really like me, I did well etc.

Howdy Sales Fishes - I’ve got an interview coming up and the recruiter prepared me by sharing that the interviewer may be low energy intentionally. Does any have a best practice for tactfully responding to this behavior or should I just persevere?

I was interviewed for a major tech player in the hospitality industry, had 2 interviews which for the first one the recruiter was late, and didn't confirm the interview while I emaild her to make sure I do have an interview.
