I can’t apply for Chase cards due to 5/24, have the pop up jail with Amex, and Capital One 6 month rule as well. Have a big spending of $4k coming up, any cards I may have an easier time applying and getting the bonus?

Which style home do you prefer and why?

Currently 25 y/o making 70k/year in Boston. I grew up pretty poor and I have minimal financial education. A lot of my salary now goes towards helping my parents get out of debt. My parents are no longer able to live on their own, so considering selling my grandmas house where they live (maybe 550k), paying off their mortgage (100k) and buying a duplex (between them they make about 55k/year). So I just moved to consulting after B school, and It's more money than I've made my entire life. After paying for rent and living expenses, I have 6000$ left over every month. My student loan payments are about 1200/month at 7% interest. I still owe another 95K on my loan. I have the option to pay more every month and reduce my overall interest paid.
