I do not think it is possible to succeed in my job or catch up with constant client 180s. I am sick of bouncing betw the high of pulling something off by the skin of my teeth and feeling like I suck bc the impossible tasks keep coming.

I work at a medical device manufacturing plant as a training coordinator, I have a military background and a degree and am trying to advance but am feeling stuck. I am a literal jack of all trades, and am trying to get out of the hourly life, I’m working an average of 100 hour weeks and have been for at least the last 6 months.

How do I leave this industry? I hate it. I literally wake up sick to my stomach with dread at the idea of going to work. I don’t enjoy any of my job functions. I cry at work at least once a week.

Hi all, I’m looking to learn about how one can transition from PwC AC to PwC India.
I joined PwC AC Bangalore as a fresher and have been working here for 13 months.
I was randomly assigned to SAP, but I’ve realised I really want to move away from this and move towards what I originally planned on pursuing i.e. data analysis, I was already well versed in ML and DL with python.

I’m a very experienced veterinary assistant who has been doing this job for about 4 years in total however because of my skill level I would say I am more of an unlicensed technician. I’m looking for input on what I should ask for a raise. Given the minimum wage, I make about $5 over but that hasn’t really changed to match inflation of living, etc and truly feel like I should be making a decent amount more given my skills. Do you think it’s bad form/ unprofessional to flip badges when a contract is lost? I’m not sure if it’s just leadership bullying, but they’re discouraging staff to take other offers from the winning company.

It may seem obvious, but in my experience partners value trial experience over anything else, so get it however you can. For example, my firm will favor a former prosecutor who has seen the courtroom a lot but has no civil litigation experience (not even a depo) over a seasoned associate who has only second chaired cases with a partner but hasn’t tried a case. Even trying a case and losing gives you credibility at my firm because you still did it.
