Hi, Need some suggestions on career switch. I'm currently working as a firmware developer in Radar SW (2yrs of experience), recently I got a opportunity to switch as pre/post silicon validation engineer at Qualcomm with good package and RSU's. I would like to switch. Any thoughts on my decision? Thanks.

How are appraisals at Razorpay? What's the average hike percentage? Can we ask for more ESOPS during the appraisal before vesting the current ESOPs?

@Producer1 Being promoted to a Sr. producer position is a tough one. Your job and responsibilities aren't really changing. In most cases it's not really a managerial position. The promotion to Sr. in what I have observed is when producers are continually working on high profile projects within the agency and without any needed supervision. It sucks...hang in there, It'll come, have chats with your superiors and outline what steps are needed for you to take the next step.
10 years experience? You should definitely be asking for a promotion. Salary for a producer? $65-$85k. Senior, $95-$120k
Oh good. I was hoping something would make me want to throw up today. So grossly underpaid it hurts
Do you have digital production experience as well? I think that component is important.
Ugh I'm in the same spot! Maybe 2017 will bring a promotion and a big fat raise 🙁😂
It has been a tough year for agencies, we are in that section of the cycle when we have to reinvent the way we do business. So my advice would be to look at what is coming up ahead and study up on that.
LB1 I should just be honest and say no. Can I produce solid content? obviously. But websites? 😔 My client assignments have limited my exposure 😒
I'm also curious as to what they might be looking for to promote someone to sr producer...I produce the same stuff (if not more complicated stuff in some cases) than sr producers at my agency and am not sure why I haven't been promoted yet. Just curious if anyone has any insight.
