I feel like tax is not for me and want to get out before I get too far! I’m three years in and am a HUGE people person. I love connecting, leading, teaching, helping, and get none of that in my role at PwC. I stare at excel sheets all day and try to figure out wtf the associate did compared to last year. Does anyone have thoughts on a Career that would be good for someone like me? Does anyone know anything about project managers? Or something like that? Hard to replace my income I guess too... 🥺

I Appeared for an interview for RPA - Automation Anywhere. I didn't got any response after the interview. Then when I reached hiring manager through LinkedIn I got to know I cleared all the rounds but my expected cts is high so they might have rejected. First thing is I never said what I am expecting . And I clearly told In managerial round that I am open for salary discussion.

But no one responded. Will I get the call back in time? Or I just leave it and go ahead with other companies?

Considering an offer to go from firm (4 YOE) to become a privacy/product counsel for a tech company (non-faang). One concern for me is the potential of a recession in late 22 into 23 with the fed rate hikes. My fear is if that happens, me being on the chopping block as new in house counsel. If I stayed at the firm, I feel reasonably secure as an associate of not being laid off due to the market. How do in house counsel positions typically fare during lay off cycles? Any experiences to share?
