Too many bad account people have forced a defence mechanism of treating us like adversaries instead of giving us the benefit of the doubt.
Often, it can be unlearnt. Don’t expect telling your creatives or producers you’re different to have an impact. Show them.
Eventually you earn their trust. And when you do, train those around you that made your colleagues feel antagonized by our dept to be better.
You sound like a diamond in the rough at your new agency, and diamonds are tough. Hang in there!

I don't have a ton of experience, but I've been at my agency almost 2 years. Here's what I'd say if you started at my company: Treat them like partners (and not like vendors) and they will warm up to you quickly. If possible, ignore their jadedness. You got this!
