I have 1 YOE in strategy consulting at a Big 4, planning to apply for BA/AC roles at MBB. I’ve read they prefer you to list test scores on the application. I’ve never taken the GMAT, so is my ACT still ok to include even though it’s nearly a decade old? 99th percentile fwiw

Is it worth it to go back to school for a better track to a FAANG company? The division I’m currently in seems like there are no good opportunities, and I have the funds available to finish my undergraduate full time (Canada). I applied to Amazon before for a highly senior position and made it to final interview so I think I would have a better chance for a new grad type role.

Has anyone dealt with coming to terms with an emotionally abusive relationship? I struggle to admit this (because more drastic examples come to mind), but my therapist mentioned that things like yelling/throwing things/blocking me from leaving the room are also abusive traits my ex demonstrated. Reorgs are just a part of the corporate world. If you haven’t been a part of one in your career yet, then you most likely haven’t been in the corporate workforce for very long. If you have been a part of a reorg, however, how do you personally approach it? There are many factors at play, but in general do you try to establish relationships with the individuals you know will be key contributors and/or decision makers going forward? Or do you lay low and let what ever happens be/hope for the best?

Had my final round last week at McK and still haven’t heard back. Resisting the urge to ping the recruiter until at least next week.
As an aside, I sent thank-you notes to all of the interviewers but didn’t hear back. None bounced back so I’m hopeful that I got the email convention right. Send me good vibes!

Received offer from BCG for ECT AD role. Read numerous comments about ECT being not attractive compared to Generalists track. Also heard challenges about billability/utilization. Any views/guidance is appreciated.

Background - I am not super keen to become an equity partner and comfortable to stay on ECT track. Main reason to join will be opportunity to work with different clients, smart talented people and good brand. I may consider going back to industry after 3-5 years in ECT.

Got offered a role at a Middle East office at BCG - haven't accepted yet.
Anyway that I can transfer to a north American office (my current location) before I join? SO can't move to Dubai and while applying they didn't interview me for my current location just for the Dubai one.
