I have 4 cards and a thin credit file. Want to open 2 more. Have Amex Plat, CSP, BoA Cash, Discover. Any recommendations? Would prefer lower or no yearly fees

Why? Sounds like a bad idea, you’re already paying 1100 a year for the cards you have and need to use them to make that worth it.

like

Oh read that as CSR. Anyway seems unhealthy to have that many cards, but you do you.

Chase freedom is by far my fav, you earn points faster and spend them through CSP to get 1.5 times value on travel.

like

CSP only gives 1.25. Have to upgrade to CSR for 1.5

You could do a hotel card. Several have annual fees under $100 and offer a free annual night so even if you barely use it you'll get value from it.

Otherwise I second getting the Chase Freedom and only using it on 5% bonus categories.

Chase has a 5/24 rule so you might want to start with chase cards.

US Bank Cash+ offers two 5% categories of your choice and you can change quarterly. We do utilities and fast food.

like

Wells Fargo Propel. No annual fee, 3x points on dining (including delivery) travel (including ride share), gas, and streaming services. Plus phone insurance if you use it to pay your bill. And it’s a metal card!

This sounds appealing. Especially the no fee bit!

Amex gold, 4x MR on groceries and restaurants

Wells Fargo Propel is probably the best no annual fee card right now.

It's also worth checking out the Chase ecosystem of cards as a combination of three of them used in an efficient manner can be extremely rewarding

I grew up very poor. I get extreme anxiety and shame when I spend money above $20. Deep down I feel like I should scrounge and save every penny. Any craft beer brewers here?

In the last two year I’ve gotten more and more into alcohol free beer. The selection in my country (Europe) is still small and mainly driven by the big brands (e.g. Heineken). My idea is to start my own small brewery which only produces alcohol free beer as a bit of a pendant to the booming local craft beer industry. Any thoughts on that idea or someone who has experience in the market?

Advice appreciated: I want to sublease my apartment so that I can rent elsewhere and pay less. I had to move in a short amount of time and it was during the period where there was a high demand for housing, & leases everywhere were expensive so I signed what I thought was fairly cheap in comparison to what was out there. However I found something this month that will cut costs by 30%. How do I go about finding someone to sublease my place?
