I have a question. Even when there are openings on MNC, FinTech, Big 4, or mid-sized company portals, and my resume matches almost 100% with the job description and keywords, I still don't get shortlisted. Does this happen because companies prefer internal candidates first? I even got referrals through LinkedIn for IBM, EY, and Wipro, but I still didn't receive any response. Could you please explain why this happens?

Just how bad would it be to quit without a two week notice? I’ve been bait & switched into a horrible role, overworked to the point of having medical problems, and no amount of diplomatic talks with my manager has improved the day to day. Does anyone have a similar experience? I interviewed with recruiters from two of "Big 4". Both interviews went well, and I was told the recruiters will submit my resume to the partners and senior managers for the next interviews. 3 weeks later, I received the rejection letters without the next interview. I wonder why the partners even not bothered to interview me. If it matters, I am a CPA with 3 years non-PA experience and applied for experienced associate positions. I appreciate any insights.
