Which consulting firm has the best 401k match?
Guys there’s this boot camp that I came across that trains people to get jobs in Top consulting firms and has a fee plan wherein you pay once you get placed. I just wanted to know if someone here has any experience with this ?

Gotta be in a good state of mind and in a place to actively make new connection.
Traveling in Paris by myself right now. Feeling very happy but sad at the same time. It's hard to explain. Happy in a way that I get to experience a new place in my own pace but sad in that I don't get to experience it with someone else. I was at the highest building with a panaromic view of the whole city last night. Truly beautiful. However, the entire time I had his nagging feeling of having to talk to someone about the breathtaking view in front of us. But I look beside me and no one is there. What would I even say that could compare? Granted, the place was packed full of people but in a way that made me feel more alone.
Try doing an organized hike during it, e.g. Swiss alps, Everest, Kilimanjaro, Patagonia, Macchu Picchu. You'll become addicted.
Love traveling alone. Did a European vacation myself 4 of last 5 years.
I used to travel alone all the time bc my friends didn't like adventure stuff & I did. Find something where there are a lot of solo travelers - my things were surfing & scuba diving. You make new friends almost instantly
Why do you find it depressing OP? Traveling alone allows you to do whatever you want, at the speed you want. I find I make way more friends when I travel alone.
Yeah, an organized hike is a good option. Why do you find traveling alone depressing, though?
I also find traveling (for leisure) depressing. My ex loves it and she thought I was nuts for never doing it. I just enjoy cool trips when I can share them with someone...whether it be a bro trip or with an SO.
I draw a distinction between travel (awesome for solo) vs vacation (terrible).
loved it before this job. now i spend so much time travellong alone for work i just want to spend the time off with friends and family
Totally agree^ I find it hard to shake the feeling of "I wish x or y was here to see or do this too.."
A2 described it well. In total, it might be a refreshing experience but those alone moments are killer and depressing.
To start with, try some place you've been before that has a ton of things to do. Also, don't plan it anywhere near a major holiday! When your friends are at work and you're in a fun city, it will help reduce FOMO.
Depressing.
