I have to stay at my current job for 4 years for my 401(k) contributions to vest and avoid repaying the relocation assistance costs ($28k, I believe). I will have been at my 4 years in June and will ultimately be free to leave without paying the relocation fee. I am looking to transition elsewhere, but I'm not sure when the right time is to start applying. It is tough to land interviews nowadays but I am fearful that I will get a job offer/start date before June and will be an unfavorable hire.

I am currently working as a PayPal AWF/CW in contractor's payroll for the past 3 months. I heard many got converted from AWF to FTE. So what is the process for FTE conversion? Should I clear some Interviews? Also how much would the salary increment be? On par with regular hiring? Any minimum time limit of being in AWF before FTE conversion?

I have my first round interview (phone case) with McKinsey tomorrow. Any tips on what to expect with the phone case? Will there be an introduction (elevator pitch + why McKinsey?) or will they jump straight into the case? It’s only 30 mins.

I was recently offered a Zoom interview. The school had 10 interview slots for me to choose from. Three were one day this week and the rest are next week. I chose the first time slot available. Leaving my current job for a career pivot. Current job has been challenging to say the least and senior management never hears what others have to say. Employment is an at will state.
Senior leadership is so unforgiving that I fear by giving notice, I’ll be asked to leave and lose out on two weeks pay.
