[query] Is it a good idea to say a firm No due to medical reasons to a new night shift project I'm hired in?Accenture
I recently got a night shift project (2 days ago) that requires me to work from 10:30pm till 7:30am
I'm not comfortable with these timings and I'm thinking to ask my manager to put me on Bench (Due to medical reasons that involve mental health)
Is it a nice idea to say a firm No to a new project I'm hardlocked into, due to night shifts?

$140 for SC is good.
140 for SC is good. I am an SC1 and make 95 in an HCOL (no prior experience). Just FYI bonuses at EY are low. I highly doubt that you will get a 13k bonus year one, but raises have tended to be between 6-18% each year. For bonus expect between 5-10k probably.
The bonus is firm wide, we don’t get targets which is likely their point about no structure. At the end of the year leadership just decides what you get based on firm and individual performance
140k feels generally in-line for a post-MBA 3rd year SC. Right or wrong, consulting firms tend to discount non-consulting experience, especially if there could be any debate about whether your role is aligned to the capabilities.
Agreed. For comparison, M2 in HC Commercial at $150k
Location? What level SC?
Southeast, I dont know what level. I will find out.
I started as a SC (first year) a few years ago and base was lower but I got a $25k signing bonus in NY.
Doesn’t hurt to ask for a sign on bonus. You might be pleasantly surprised
Is this US or Canada? I believe the offer is good because last I heard they were offering 100-110.
Just M is roughly $95k - $140k CAD
140 is good as a SC.
@EY PAS folks - is this normal salary for SC? Seems high. Is it bc OP has an MBA? Do non-MBAs get this pay?
@OP - they said there’s no bonus structure? What kind of BS is that?
A few years ago (2-4) when PAS recruited from top MBA schools (which they do not anymore) starting salary as a post-MBA new hire was in alignment with other Big4 senior consultant hires. Think $135-145k depending on which year. Three years post top tier MBA would be a higher salary than that. The question is where is your MBA from and also considering that PAS does not target MBA programs anymore, it might not be as valuable negotiation point.
Improvement for EY PAS, 2 years ago they were in the $110K range for me with a similar background and education.
Damn - 140k is good for SC.
It’s that MBA money! In the Parthenon group MBA SCs start at 175k so I think you’re getting paid fairly for CM work
The city matters. What city?
What is the salary range for PAS Manager at EY?
I’m in PAS, they will never pay the true value of an MBA and bonus is terrible here
What level are you? Do you know the salary range of a Manager in PAS?
MBA offers for EY SC was 155K in 2020. Looks like you may be lowballed
