I will be joining Oracle Financial Services Software(OFSS) and I am worried about job security considering the layoffs that will be happening in Oracle as per below link:

Sorry to hear of your misfortune. But let’s think about what your new opportunity can be. What do you want to do now that you’re in this position. I went thru a rif like you. I was mad and I thought I had better performance than others who stayed. I actually think my success was a threat to my boss and even his boss. I moped and I took a job that was created at a rep firm. I continued to do very well. But the job was not what I picked and I was not happy. So I finally found a new job 2 years later and started on my path. Today I have a great job and after 15 years I am near retirement at the top of my career. Invest in you and find a new purpose and direction. It may take a little time. Good luck!
Welcome to corporate world, just belive in yourself and trust yourself. The day you belive the words of corporate task masters you will just find disappointment.
Work on your skills, if you have capacity and mindset to earn more go for it, no one can gauge your skills better than you. Do not be discouraged, things and market will improve, I am sensing a era like great resignation coming and shifting the market towards employees.
Sometimes managers do not know the stack rank of employees to be let go. It may happen at the director level where they have a list and priorities to let go (ie. Phase 1 layoffs, phase 2 layoffs, etc).
It’s not you. You were not let go for performance issues. The job id you were occupying was eliminated. Period. Don’t feel low. You had no control. Your manager MAY not have had control. All depends on the org. The size and the decision process. I ran a RIF that was purely title and level based. Hated every moment but had no choice. Managers were handed a list of roles and employees impacted the morning of. That said, in another org each manager needed to eliminate 15% of their teams. So it was their call working with HR. Usually it’s the former as it’s less likely the company will get sued vs the latter were its wildly subjective

Same here but turns out I was deemed "unfit" without ever getting any negative feedback and the reason I was behind was health issues that landed me on ER thrice. When I was explaining they were like "well... anyway sorry for the bad news" what a joke of a company
