I know this bowl is for H1B but posting to see if anyone has insight - friend has final round interview for a strategy role at a tech company but he’ll need a TN. I asked him if he checked the visa sponsorship box and he said he didn’t because he thought he’d get TN under accountant or economist.. but now he thinks the role won’t really pass under accountant and is worried. I don’t know what to tell him - Should he reach out to HR now or wait until final round is offer / they come with an offer?

It’s Friday night at midnight and I just got out of work. I am new to FPP defense. So far it’s soul crushing. I feel like a robot just doing the same pattern pleadings and discovery over and over. If I try to be creative or ask questions I get the response that I should not recreate the wheel… basically just cut and paste. My brain feels like it’s going to rot doing this work. Does it get better or do I need to plan my exit to a different field ASAP?

So, a recruiter gave me feedback that my lack SPHR or SHRM-SCP is causing my resume to be knock out by AI and human recruiters despite my position and work history in Multinationals and being in Technology. They suggested that we put SPHR ( Lapsed). I let it lapse in 2017. What is your opinion? Plus if I were to take another certification - should I take SPHR or SHRM-SCP?

I had my Assessor interview this past week and received a pre-screening questionnaire that asked about dual citizenship status. My client’s site got hacked yesterday. I didn’t see any actual signs of impending attack. But knowing how little we do for cyber security when building a site, I knew we must have been vulnerable in some way.
