I know this bowl is for H1B but posting to see if anyone has insight - friend has final round interview for a strategy role at a tech company but he’ll need a TN. I asked him if he checked the visa sponsorship box and he said he didn’t because he thought he’d get TN under accountant or economist.. but now he thinks the role won’t really pass under accountant and is worried. I don’t know what to tell him - Should he reach out to HR now or wait until final round is offer / they come with an offer?

Received an offer from a top FAANG for a 250% increase in TC. However, I was initially interviewing for a position that was remote and yet the final offer does not provide that option, non-negotiable. I have a wife and 2-year-old child and another one due in 7 months, and currently live near both sets of grandparents.

Is working at a top FAANG really worth that kind of cost? I'm leaning heavily 'no' but it's not making it easy to sleep at night knowing I'm sitting on this kind of offer!

Hi there, has anyone renewed driving license in Massachusetts using valid I 797? I do not have have latest visa stamp or I 94 with extended date. The RMV site did not provide much guidance about i 797.

Currently a senior, working hard to promote Manager in a year/two. Firm wants to submit PERM with EB3 senior position and said no promotion should be taken until getting I140. Only less than 2yrs left on H1B. Getting 140 can take very long and don’t want to delay career progress. Is this even right, why cannot file PERM for a future position? What can I do now?
