S&P Global Anyone here work at S&P Global? I’m a project manager who has been with the company for a few years. My position has changed at review time the last few years, so I’ve never gone through the raise process. What percentages have you seen with the company? I’m feeling a bit overworked at this point and don’t want to have my expectations higher than what is reasonable, but also feel like I’ll need a large-ish chunk of cash to feel better about how much I’m working. From a different brokerage firm reach out about same position and I interview and they say let us know of your test score pass / fail for 66 and then we will continue.. well they stopped interviewing at time they just recruited my manager okay
I recently see my now old manager at a happy hour and I asked why did this firm
Stopped interviewing me and she said oh bcuz your not licensed.. well another girl who was sitting across from me at HH my manager recruited her after she left my current firm and got her more money for the same client associate role and she has no license no SIE (I have my SIE and Series 7)
Okay next I find out a girl left my now old manager firm to go to the firm that I first mentioned in this post also unlicensed for a Client Assoc role and they offered her $17k more than me…

Feeling like I need to leave wealth management
That's a tough one. Sounds like maybe the timing is just off, but I kind of feel like we need some more information to be able to give feedback/advice. What was the reason you gave when you declined the initial offer? How did you handle that situation? Did you even try to counter-offer? As far as the second situation, it sounds like maybe your former manager simply isn't interested in interviewing/hiring you there. Try not to take it personal. There are plenty of other opportunities out there. But I'd definitely be curious to hear exactly went down at the first firm you mentioned.
I mean good for you for flagging it...and that's really all you CAN do this at this point. Sounds like kind of a weird place, I think you dodged it
