I never thought I would find a job I feel so comfortable in, especially with my ADHD and social anxiety. My supervisor said she is very impressed by my customer service skills and has nothing she can point to for me to work on or improve. She was even impressed with my reaching out about changing my schedule. Finally, I have a managerial team that I can talk to. I honestly can hardly believe it.

this is honestly amazing!! I wish that some of my team members could get to such a confident/comfortable place. I try to be an open minded manager all the time, but I still feel like some people have such low self-confidence that they can't even be upfront with me. Anyways, great news for you!!

Wow congrats and amazing! Glad you find the right place/fit for you. Always nice to hear the positives. Good luck and continued success.

That's excellent for you. Love this!

I too, have been blessed with a wonderful team, at a wonderful company where I feel at peace and home at. So I'm glad things are working great for you! Keep it up! Good jobs and businesses are out there, so never settle.

So wonderful!! I wonder how you can reward yourself for such a positive interaction? Are you taking a spa day? haha

I feel like every company lies about “working your way up.” You’re never allowed to blatantly say that you don’t like your position and you’d like to transition to HR or Finance. It’s almost as if once you get in claims, you’re stuck.

You guys think that buying CGC or TLRY now that they’re beaten down are a good Long term play, or do you feel they still have more room to fall?

Okay finance gurus, I have an idea and interested in your thoughts. Might be a bad one so be gentle 🙂. I have a 2 yr old and another on the way. Need to start planning for college. I was thinking of buying a condo or 2 in lieu of saving and selling them down the line for tuition. Condos downtown are pretty inexpensive (T3) so it’s financially feasible. But is this a good idea or too risky?
