I would’ve be surprised if all public accounting firms are mass creating job postings. Everyone’s understaffed
Most probably someone quit.
Understaffed AF. I am also getting a lot of resumes of overworked and completely burnt out Big4 SALT seniors and managers. A lot of them regret taking any retention bonuses.
Do you happen to have the link for the post?
The post positions everywhere since SALT is widely remote and spread out now. They’ll hire someone anywhere
I’ve noticed this for all the big 4. They don’t post one ad for a position on LinkedIn - there’s one for every city. And there may be more than one position potentially open
PwC is very goal driven. If you come in and don't reach the metrics they have in mind for you, they'll have no problem parting ways with you.
Deloitte...I think PwC looks at numbers more than many other firms. You can be excellent at your work but if your numbers are not great, you'll be cut. This approach isn't true any all firms.
I just have an indirect alert set up on LI. This position appears to be posted for all the offices or most of them at least.
Tell me more...
Do they think BDO will be better? Do you think BDO is better?
Definitely better at BDO. I was at EY and I didn’t realize how overworked I was because everyone was doing it and part of the culture.
Just got a Linkedin message from PwC recruiter. They even offer WFH option 😅
