I received an offer for a Series A data startup, was able to negotiate up to the title and bare minimum of salary I want. BUT the offer came at least a month before any final rounds I’d have for bigger name companies if my interviews go well (Capital One and Amazon).

On paper I’m getting everything I want except brand name which I highly value being in my early career. Cap1 and Amazon could be long shots for me given my limited YOE, but it didn’t seem like I could extend my offer w the startup

Recruiter wants to chat before final interview which is already scheduled with head of business unit. What does this typically mean? We haven’t talked comp but I assume that would be after final interview so curious as to why the chat beforehand. Anyone experience this?
