Absolutely get a kindle! I love mine
I usually download books on Audible and listen to them as I commute, workout, etc. Definitely worth it, total life changer.
Another vote for Audible. Good during exercising, travel, and commuting.
Old school guy here. Still prefer to read actual book. Mid 30’s btw
I try to read nightly. I considered the Kindle, but wanted to travel with less. So i actually just use my ipad and downloaded the kindle app, its connected directly to prime so getting free books and magazines to read is great. That way i can travel with just one additional item not two.
Audible is one of the best services I’ve signed up for over the last 10 years. Completely changed my relationship with books. It’s actually gotten me to read physical books as well.
Kindle/local library/buy from my fave authors. I love reading but if I get out of the habit it can take me months to get back into it. Kindle helps a lot. As to what I read a lot of fantasy, thrillers, mysteries and some literary fiction. Dont read nonfiction often but the occasional memoir/biography or something physics/astronomy related.
I read a little every night before I go to sleep and sometimes on my weekly flights. I usually still get physical books but someone just use the kindle reader on my iPhone.
The new paperwhite is really great.
I read every night and when travelling use the kindle app on my iPad. I do like a book however hard to travel with and then annoying if you finish it mid trip.
What are you all reading?
Some of the best (nonfiction) books I read this year were Bad Blood, Why We Sleep, and Sapiens
I prefer physical but have moved largely to kindle on my phone (less space/cheaper/on-the-go). Some libraries allow their ebooks to be downloaded via kindle which is nice!
Cool, but what are you actually reading?
Good. Business books. Jim Collins is good on most stuff. Michael Lewis too. Clayton Christensen.
Use good reads!
