I received a cryptic rejection for BCG a month after applying basically stating that they’d “like to reach out in the coming months when they start considering people for roles starting in early 2023.” Is this an actual deferral or is this their nice way of rejecting me? I made it through the first 2 interviews and I think it went well. How long does it usually take to find out if you move on to the final interview round?

I was initially considered for an insights and analytics Manager - experience management opportunity, aced all the interviews and the recruiter got back to me saying they really liked me but are considering me for a Senior Consultant position in order to ‘set me up for success’, and that I could be promoted to manager anywhere within 3 to 6 months..
Not super excited about the ‘drop’ in title, I currently am Sr Mgr of analytics at a Fintech managing a team of 4 FT analysts

I have an interview for an in house position (only attorney) at a small non-profit focused on conservation easements. I am a transactional associate at a mid sized law firm. The prospect of freedom from the billable hour and contributing to meaningful work are the draws. The cons are that while the salary at the non-profit would only be slightly less than what I am making now, pay increases and opportunities for advancement will be much less than where I am now. Thoughts on making the shift?

How long does it take EY GDS to hire? I've applied for some positions (bcom fresher) on June last week.
