I recently joined Accenture - my SO is a PHD student and was on my insurance. The university wants to charge us 3K for their insurance since we can’t provide proof of insurance until the new benefits go through. New benefits are supposed to be in effect but we enrollment has been delayed because Accenture lost my Domestic Partner tax form and I had to resubmit. The issue should be resolved by Friday but the school is charging us tomorrow without exception - do we have any recourse?

Ridiculously beginner questions but: 1) is the max 401k ($19,500) that you can save per year including employer contributions? 2) hypothetically what happens if I set my contribution rate too high and don't correct it? Let's say I make $100k and set my rate to be 30% which would result in my saving to much. Are there safeguards against this or do I get penalized? Thanks!

I got a rejection email. I felt dizziness while working and fell down today. I had to go to the doctor due to the anxiety and stress I was carrying since the last 2 months. It has affected my health. Received an offer to lateral to a big firm. The benefits package includes health, dental, disability etc. but no mention of their parental leave policy.
