I think if you’re in disability leave then the company would need to do whatever they feel is necessary to keep things going… You handling them would mean that you’re working and not actually on leave. Just my thoughts…
I totally get the part about running operations seamlessly and having me not work. But the problem is that I’m a salaried account manager who’s licensed who’s begun selling policies. I’m not on 1099 yet bc The only policy I’ve sold so far hasn’t met the monetary requirement to be or have to fill out a 1099 form. So it’s a little complicated and there’s some shades of gray but all in all I think it would’ve been at least at minimum courteous to me to let me know, and maybe had an interactive process with me to work together to ensure that nothing slips through the cracks in terms of my professional career or reputation even. This is expected of him not to give two shits about anything having to do with that but nonetheless I have a right don’t i? I hate working for toxic bosses. As soon as I can I’m getting out of there but it’s a sticky situation because I’m on disability. I don’t know if I can just quit?
I mean. If you’re that worried about your success how do you go out and not have a plan about your own email?
I mean Because I don’t make the rules, Partner 1. Company emails are company property. I’m not sure I have a say, do I?
This is why I’m asking.
Speaking from experience of you are on disability you are not allowed access to work emails, you CAN NOT work, this is why access is taken away.
