It’s busy all the time and I get to experience all different types of apps, OSes, and almost every aspect of IT in this way. I make around 50k which is alright but its hectic as there’s too many tickets and not enough personnel. I heard this is common but I’m not sure.

As of late, my work related anxiety has reached new levels and it’s really starting to affect me mentally. I’m part of a great team; I’m trusted and supported, have a great track record, there are no issues, and have been no incidents. Regardless, my professional self perception and confidence is so rattled as of late, it’s almost like a paralysis at times. A quick note about what I’ve experienced, in my decade long career, is the real advantage of MBB or FAANG - it gives you a shot at stretch roles that are outside your expertise. Not all the time or even most of the time compared to better candidates with specific experience for the role but gives you this wildcard shot at a vast array of opportunities.
