Hi All,
I just got a call from KLA Company's HR that I have cleared final round and there is a HR round today evening for salary discussions.
The role is for Frontend Developer(Angular).
I have 3.1 years of experience.
CCTC - 13.2 LPA (all fixed)
Holding offer of 17.5 from service company in Pune.
Does anybody have any reviews for this company for the s/w department?
How much should I ask?
What are the other ways I can negotiate? Like do they provide RSUs?
KLA Corporation
Thank you

I’ve been at it a long time and this is definitely an anomaly. Had an ex-colleague who got an “f... you” the other day but that is the first I’ve ever heard of it. There are a lot of people looking and most of them are getting no’s right now. I would chalk it up to a highly sensitive environment due to all the Covid lay offs.
I don’t think so. This is definitely unique. The reason why you are talking about it in the first place is because it is an outlier

I’m so sorry! Some people are just idiots.
When I was first year recruiter working for an agency I once was assigned to a mass recruitment project - temp workers for tobacco factory. So I was interviewing all day long, and then I had this last candidate. It was real late, and I was the last person in the office. So I saw a 7y gap in his job records and asked him what was that. He said “I was in prison”. I asked him - For what? And he was like - homicide. I was scared shitless.
Entry level SWE can just troll you (but change all passwords just in case and be on a lookout for phishing), but at least they aren’t usually violent.
Had someone ask if i was being racist this week because I told him he was applying for roles 2-3 levels below and I would help him find roles that pay more for his education. On paper- perfect candidate for assoc. manager and applying analyst roles.
This job has its highs and lows for sure.
I have no idea, which is why I’m so baffled. But I’ve had candidates say weird stuff with rejections to roles. Part of the job.
What do you mean it’s “being taken care of?” Sounds like your employees got your back!
Not common and this definitely solidifies you made the right decision!
