I work as the office/admin manager for a small accounting firm for past 4 years. Firm has client who has her own psych practice & my boss has asked me to take over entering her patient apts into her therapist software, apply the payments & send invoices monthly, run reports to let client know of balances. Boss hasnt offered me any $ for this work but bills the client hourly for it & i feel like im being sublet to this client as an admin, Am i out of line to feel this is wrong & bring it up?

I’ll go first- I’ll tell myself to not overshare, especially to the manager. People will generally make an image of you and judge you on basis of that even if you have changed a lot.

Lesson learnt:

She was fake friendly, but she was discrete too. Some of the executives thought she was amazing, but I had to clean up her work all the time. She wasn’t above me either on the chain of command. Later I found out she had tried for the exec assistant role and they didn’t choose her, they wanted me instead.
