I can’t pass it because I think I was in a fugue state the entire time I got my masters (even though I graduated magma cum laude). I still google which accounts are increased by debits.
You can pass the CPA, exam, I promise. It took me forever, and when I finally made myself actually study (I used all the courses, Gleim worked the best for me), and low and behold success. I hated every minute of it, but I literally went to the library every day. I studied, at the library, four hours each night and all day Saturday and Sunday. Did I mentioned it SUCKED!! Regardless, I took all the quizzes, read every damn book, and watched all the videos. And it did work. Don’t cut yourself short. You can do it. Get the CPA.
You may as well become a bookkeeper now. Why go through all this shit to become a bookkeeper?
P.S. the Yurt Resort is still accepting investors.
Tons of industry jobs don’t require a cpa. It helps but you can definitely land a great gig without it
Did you already take advantage of Becker? I think Becker totally helps. I felt the same as you when I got my masters, but just dedicated my life to studying for a year and got it done
Hang on as long as you can. Some places don’t require it but you need to leverage your experience as much as you can so u can still make decent pay without having a cpa
Do one year of senior and leave, anything past that without a CPA is a waste of your time
Honestly there are tons of things your experience can work for. Don’t believe people who tell you CPA is end all. I think if you do a year or two as senior you’ll still have tons of oops when you leave. Maybe you’ll find a passion after leaving too.
You can pass the CPA... I know you can cause I was able to do it, just don’t take any shortcuts when studying and it is totally doable. It really takes a LOT of studying cause of the depth of material
does your company promotes non cpas to senior? I think if you don’t want to be a cpa, start looking what you want now... no point in staying more years (assuming that you dont want public accounting either)...
Why can’t you pass it?
Yeah work for 3 or 4 years and then jump out
You can be an accountant....without a cpa. You can do internal audit...tax...whatever you want only cpa firm requires one.
