Are there any well-off suburbs around Chicago where there's a significant amount of black or mixed race people? Significant meaning 40-50%+. I've seen a lot of nice black suburbs in southern and eastern cities but less in the midwest. In an interracial relationship and want to get an idea if there are any suburbs where our kids would feel represented or if we'll need to move down south for that.

Is going through a “hoe phase” an appropriate response to a break up? On one hand I think it’s good to get out of your head, but on the other hand it might be used to avoid the core issue.

My uncle I met a week ago suddenly died. He hid his heart condition from his wife, my aunt. He was having tea in the morning when he had a stroke. She did not have a last word or consider the possibility that he’d pass away so suddenly and soon. She is beating herself up over how he left and they didn’t have a chance to talk that morning. Fishes, sharing this so you call your loved ones today and not take people for granted.

How to politely tell my partner stop spending too much time on playing video games? It was my false at first. I introduced Zelda breathe of the wild to her and now, she is hooked. She even played game when we had the movie night. I chose the her movie style but she let me to watch it alone and silently turned on the game, and played it while pretended to watch the movie with me. That’s not fun at all. What should I do? I grew up in a nuclear family away from extended relatives who were never really close. Parents were either emotionally unavailable or distant. All I've wanted for myself was a big loving family to call my own.. my parents are unaccepting of my sexuality & my partners family is also quite fucked up so she's isn't super close to them either. Stupid Question- We have been thinking for IVF and trying to understand with this process, is there any difference in the health and life of the child as compared to a child born without IVF.
