I have interview scheduled and completed from Commonwealth Bank Bangalore location. All technical rounds cleared.
When I called HR i got a surprise answer..
They mentioned the position which I have intervied is different than the salary rem ranges. And my current salary is higher than position what they have got and asked for approval for rem ranges changes..
Is any one faced this? Ideally HR should know expectation and allocation before scheduling intervjew..
I am bit confused with commonwealt

RTO policies are not set in stone, and the trend is shifting towards in-person work. If that’s the only benefit of the mid-size firm, go with the V50. As a rule of thumb, mid-size firms are just less money and less exit opportunities for the same hours.
Also, even if the comp is pretty close now, it almost certainly won’t be in a couple years. That’s even more true when you compare bonus amounts.
This was my experience. My pay doubled when I went to biglaw, with about 20% more work!

I would never choose to work at a mid size firm over big law. Ever.
A2 lots and lots of lawyers (and even moreso, law students) get sweet talked by the firms or recruiters with a bunch of BS about how they’ll work much less and have a “real path to partner” and other crap. Or, they just assume those things based on firm size based on inaccurate stereotypes. Go see threads about midlaw in the broader law bowl and on Reddit, that mindset is absolutely everywhere.
Midlaw is slumming it. You won’t like the level
of work or opposing counsel.
V50
Depends on whether you are a junior or mid/senior.
V50 for all the reasons cited, plus the fact it gives you better exit options.
