I have had a rough 2 weeks. I was ghosted by the guy I was seeing for 7 months and then today I was laid off from my agency due to them losing clients and not doing well financially. I just feel so
Can you get fired or laid off if you are on a short term disability leave? Does this call for a lawsuit if this happens?
After a layoff -- Keep your job / agency title on LinkedIn for a few months? Or go full-on 'Works At Freelance'
In response to the post with the person fired for being delinquent on their corporate card, is there a grace period for paying it off? Ive never not paid it off but its hard with GTE not approving.
Does anyone know the “rules” of applying and ultimately matriculating in to a Part-Time MBA program if you were laid off? Specifically, is it a strict rule that you need to be actively employed during the application process and/or school year? Or, can you successfully apply and matriculate while unemployed?
Do you think it is quite possible to get fired by asking too many questions as an experienced senior 1? If so, i might get fired after this busy season.
Is it a bad idea to get a new job this period? My firm is not talking about layoffs at the moment. Has anybody moved from their somewhat secure job?
Few people in the world make more money than Mark Reed, John Wren, Michael Roth or Arthur Sadoun. Cant they offer anything to avoid layoffs?

So this happened. Since getting laid off I’ve been applying to every job that I believe I’m qualified for. 30 minutes after I hit send I received an email from the company stating that I did not have the right qualifications for the job. No one from the company looked at my portfolio. How do I get past the algorithm and get my work noticed by a real person?
With everything going on and a recent layoff, I’ve really been reevaluating my life. Is it dumb to leave all $ and perks behind for more fulfillment and passion. I’m looking for a new job but... cont.

Sr. Consultant on my team keeps explaining to me how to do simple tasks and then saying when they can review my work. I'm a consultant and at times it feels pretty damn condescending.
